Snow White
Based on the story collected by the Brothers Grimm
Directed by Loretta Curtis
January 13 through 27, 2007
Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.
It's the ageless fairy tale of the lonely princess.
Her beauty arouses the murderous jealousy of her stepmother
queen when the queen's magic mirror proclaims Snow White the
"fairest in the land." She escapes to the home of the seven dwarfs,
and the queen pursues her with a poisoned apple. But true love conquers
all. Our version, performed by our young actors, adds a few humorous
touches to the familiar story.

Anything Goes
Original Book by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse
Revised book by Howard Lindsey and Russel Crouse
Music & Lyrics by Cole Porter
Directed by Bill Jury
February 16 through March 10, 2007
Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.
Billy Crocker runs into his old pal Reno Sweeny -- she's
an evangelist turned entertainer -- and Hope, a young woman he
loves. They're sailing for Europe -- Hope with her mother and,
Billy's sorry to see, with Sir Evelyn, her fiance. Billy decides
to stow away and make Hope his own. Moonface Mullins, Public Enemy
Number 13, and his friend Bonnie are also making the trip. Billy asks
Reno to seduce Sir Evelyn, but she decides that she likes him.
Needless to say, the course of this love boat does not run smooth.
But those fabulous Cole Porter songs keep on coming: the title song,
"You're the Top," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "It's De-Lovely,"
and "Blow, Gabriel, Blow."
Jack & the Beanstalk
Adapted by Bill Springer
February 17 through March 10, 2007
Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.
All the familiar characters from the classic fairy
tale are here but with a little bit of a modern-day twist
-- including gullible, inquisitive Jack and his poor mother;
a smart, determined cow; the magical egg-laying goose; and a
not-so-scary Giant and his wife. Jack's cow refuses to be sold
and is constantly chased across the stage, first by the bean seller
and then additional characters from other fairy tales. The smart
aleck Narrator almost gets into a fight with the Mother about
the magical qualities of the beans and the Giant's wife insists
he mow the grass.
