Helping in many Ways
Greyt Friends is dedicated to helping the retired racer - but
at the same time we can't turn our backs on the greyhounds that didn't make it
to a race or those that are not even considered for racing.
Carrie - helping educated Children
Carrie went to a high school to teach students about Greyhounds

Just saying "Hello"

Carrie gets a big hug for doing a good job!

Maggie
Maggie is such a trooper. We took Maggie in several months ago because
she was the runt of the litter and didn't seem to be up to par to go to
training. We had all intentions of finding a home for her but as time went
on more health problems were recognized. Maggie now has swim therapy
weekly and is a wonderful little girl but she does have special needs. She
is waiting for the perfect home to come along and understand her needs and be
able to care for her.
Check her out at her swim therapy - and if you would like more information
on adopting Maggie or would like to help pay for her therapy please contact Dee
at 770-971-8788 or email
Dee@greytfriends.org.
It's very important that friends help friends - and in the
greyhound community trying to move one greyhound to another is no easy
accomplishment. PooBear spent a couple nights with us until she could get
from Miami to her forever home in NC

Iris - the Spanish Galgos
Although Greyt Friends couldn't take Iris in to our foster program, she
needed help getting from Spain to her new home in North Carolina. Greyt
Friends was at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to welcome her and give
her a temporary home until her parents came to get her. Check out the
pictures of the Spanish Galgos
