While on the subject of colors, it looks as if a new road had been paved by the film ‘Black’ – it was a blockbuster. If it would have been entered for the Oscars, it could have done us proud. Considering its phenomenal success, a second movie on color is being readied for release – it is titled ‘Red’. While the former was symbolic of the life of a blind girl, to whom everything is black, the latter probably has blood as its theme since the color of blood is red.

Very soon, there could be movies titled ‘White’ (about peace and doves and widows) or ‘Green’ where it would be all about envy or ‘Yellow’ which would be about cowardice. The climax would be the film ‘Ramdhanu’ or ‘the Rainbow’ where there will be a super cast of the most sought after seven couples of Bollywood (since there are seven colors of the rainbow). The movie would be in the price band of one thousand crores and there would be seven sets of song and dance sequences shot in seven exotic locations for the seven sets of stars. The grapevine has it that the directorial team would be a conglomerate called ‘the Seven Sons’ and would comprise seven most successful directors.
