Blogs around the world
Where to submit your RSS feeds and Weblogs
1) Yahoo!
http://www.yahoo.com/
Yahoo! has a search engine, directory and news
resource in which you can add your blog, feed and Web site. Few
can argue against Yahoo!
Search being one of the top major search engines and directories
available online, so you want to make sure your stuff is listed on Yahoo!
wherever possible. Yahoo! lists plenty of blogs within the appropriate
categories for the blogs and you can add yours to the list (see
below).
Yahoo is a massive and it gets confusing. Its help page explains the Directory and how it differs from
the other parts of the site. Search Help is also a good resource for understanding
the Yahoo! Network.
Yahoo!
Directory organizes Web sites and pages into categories and
subcategories. Sometimes visitors don't know what they want and prefer to
look through the directory instead of entering keywords. Or they want to
find keywords within a specific category.
Yahoo! News is also a
major source for news information online. It's possible to
directly submit your news-based Web site, blog or RSS news feed to Yahoo
News through an official submission form. Yahoo News requires submission
of your name, email, URL, the selection of the item "Suggest news site for
news search index" in the drop down menu labeled "What are you writing
about" and any extra comments you may have.
Your site is immediately submitted to the Yahoo News
editorial review team and checked for approval. If your site produces
original news content on a daily basis you may want to seriously consider
submitting your site to this resource as it may provide for major increase
in reach and exposure once your content is regularly spidered by the Yahoo
News content crawler.
To submit your site: When you go to the submission
page, it'll have you do a search of your site's URL to ensure it's not
already listed. Once done, you'll have to login with your Yahoo! ID. The
best thing to do is search for the category in the directory where your
entry belongs and then click Suggest a Site. FAQ on how to
suggest a site.

Though this will not guarantee you tons of new traffic and you will
need to engage in writing a personal email to them, the RSS Reader RSS
feeds directory is small enough, multilanguage and of such high-quality
that getting listed there would certainly be of benefit to pretty much
anyone out there.
You can suggest your own RSS newsfeed to this email address: mailto:info@rssreader.nl

Chordata: RSS & Atom Feeds Index
http://chordata.geckotribe.com/
Chordata is the name of the animal phylum that contains mammals,
amphibians, reptiles, birds, and most fish (among others). The name of a
phylum, and the name Chordata in particular was chosen, for a number of
reasons: a) Chordata categorizes newsfeeds heirarchically by their content
(similar to how living things are categorized by family, phylum, class,
genus, species, etc.), b) Chordata is a directory of newsfeeds of various
types (RSS, Atom, etc.), c) Chordata is prounounced like "core data"--a
phrase that is descriptive of many newsfeeds, etc. etc.. The company
behind this RSS feeds directory service develops quality tools to manage,
parse, aggregate, filter and syndicate RSS feeds (newsmaster tools).
You can suggest your own RSS newsfeed and rate others too right
